I've finally finished it! It took 12 months (9 more than I planned) and probably constitutes at least a few hundred hours of work. I wont say too much because there's a README file included that covers everything.
Ewok Village is a gigantic forest (300m tall trees) with a skiable canopy and skiable bridges connecting the trees. Some of the trees have rooms, chutes, and other cool stuff. It is very computationally expensive, you will need 1Gb of RAM to run Ewok Village (probably something to do with all the high res textures and 84 trees, each with 1000-3500 polys ). As a compromise I also included a smaller map, Ewok Hamlet, that only has 12 trees and only requires 512Mb of RAM (lol, 'only'). Ewok Village takes 4-6 minutes to light and Ewok Hamlet takes 1-2 minutes. Therefore I've included the .ml lighting files in the UNF, but for some reason they don't get recognised, so you'll have to extract them if you want to avoid lighting the map the first time.
I wont be working on this map any more. If there's something you want changed you'll have to do it yourself. I've included the original Hammer files, as well as where I got the original high res textures, so you have everything you need to modify the map. |
