:D I've been messing with Legends for a while now (since first beta), and I thought I would "release" all the stuff that I've added to the default Legends install, since I just spent the time and added all of this stuff to a install file anyway (friend wanted my copy of Legends).

The biggest changes are:

1) Some weapon balancing, (made turrets and rail gun less overwhelmingly powerful.)

2) New Disc and Grenade Launcher Explosions by SarcaStick!
(dude, his explosion was so nice I had to edit it for both teh GL and Disc - the GL is a grayish dark blue trail and explosion, and the disc is a more standard red/orange explosion.)

3) New GUI themes (if you checked out my earlier post on this, you've already seen this) Include gold, blue, green, bluegreen, gray & red GUI themes. (Select from the Options > Skins menu.)

4) MrSniper's Killsite map. New legends map by MrSniper, to keep the variety in Legends while more maps are developed :)

5) Scripts By Ilys:
Altitude, Speed, FPS Hud
Recticle Ammo Hud (Displays ammo below recticle)
FOV Options (FOV Slider in Options Menu)

6) Zoom power hud by pigdart (displays Zoom Magnification)

7) FlagCapHUD by sado (Personal Flag Cap timing hud)

8) Alpha Omega Flag Skins by Xcursion

That's it so far! If you have anything you think I should add to this script pack, lemme know.

EDIT: I originally had added some placeholder sounds for the plasma and mortar explosions, but I know they weren't of the highest quality - I'll put them in a seperate DL later for anyone who can't wait for someone else to make sounds :)

Good work Unlucky, only thing I dont like is the blue nade explosion.

I needed to think up a new color :/ There's not much left that's not taken

...i tried to use Sarca's black explosion, but it looked too solid on the lighter colored maps...
sooo...i came up with dark blue B)

nice work dewd :) im hoping to finish a map soon also (which objects are we allowed to use and who to ask btw?).

I have one quick note to make about hosting a server with this mod :)

If someone joins with you running this pack, their grenade explosion with be the old explosion (white with black particles), instead of the default one that's used for the disc and hand grenade explosions in the current version.

Hopefully, I can get the explosion to the point the DEV team will include it, and then everyone will have it :)


The reason for this is because Legends currently uses the same explosion file for disc and grenade. If you want to make the disc explosion different, you have to specify a different file - I used the old gl since the explosion is included with the game. (It's just not used.)

If you want the old grenade launcher, I'm sure I can walk you through editing the single line that's inside the GrenadeLauncher.cs file.

Also, updated the dl link...I don't think i'm going to use yahoo anymore. They keep killing external links :(
